elegantly dressed and joyful too

I know this week’s Baroque contribution to Elegantly Dressed Wednesday looks a bit like a cheat, but I feel I have more than kept the side up so far (and even between-times). Today’s offering is a tribute to two friends of mine.

One is the person who originally sent me the link. He died two years ago this weekend, so this is a good time to remember the joy, which was considerable and included many emails full of silly web links (the Angora show rabbit site should win a special prize).

Second is the very-much-alive Catwoman, who reminded me of this site the other day, suggesting it for my next Wednesday offering. To this extent it isn’t even a cheat! To the Catwoman this really is as elegant as it gets. Her two fluffy balls of love are called Mitzi and Mabel and they are better dressed (though no fluffier) than her children.

Without more ado, here is the Anne of Green Gables outfit from the wonderful, Japanese Catprin tailor for cats. The outfit is described like this: "The country-tone blouse are made of the same material as the hood, presenting a consistency in the appearance. The yellow flower in the center of the collar is very impressive as well! All ornaments are velcrod and can be attached or detached easily."

The site also gives easy-to-follow instructions for use:

1. Dress her up. Cheer or yell, do whatever you like to enjoy the moment with your family.
2. After you are enough with your joy, take a photo! Take some poses and leave her some cute photos!
3. Remove her clothes and give her a hub, say "Thank you!"
