... how can you be beyond Baroque? Like, what is that? Then again, the pictured bookshop & poetry venue is in Venice, California, I guess about - oh, 7,000 miles beyond me. Well, you'll be happy to know they've had their lease renewed.

I like the concept of being 'Beyond Baroque' as it suggests that Baroque is a boundary of sorts, perhaps one of taste. Should it be crossed then you are Beyond Baroque. 'Tis a fine line.
Ms R, of course you are right. I guess I harboured a little fantasy that I was - er - sort of the limnit of baroqueness - but I guess not... (sigh)
